gen:budget
A budget — a financial plan that reconciles.
What it does
A budget as the deliverable: a financial plan for a designated envelope, under reconciliation discipline — line items sum to their category totals, categories sum to the envelope — produced and delivered as a durable artifact.
The registry's own words: A budget as a deliverable: a financial plan under reconciliation discipline — line items that sum to their totals, categories that reconcile against the stated envelope — produced as a computable artifact or a document, as the host delivers budgets. Minted in 3.9 under the deliverable test: a budget can be checked by arithmetic alone, which no sibling kind can be.
Fire it — usage examples
“Plan the move: truck, crew, packing, storage — $2,000 all in.
gen:budget”→ a budget is built, priced line by line, reconciled against the $2,000, and delivered.
“A monthly budget for the truck fleet.
gen:bud”→ the lines sum to the categories and the categories to the month — or the gap is disclosed, never hidden.
Said aloud: “Lingo, generate budget — the move, two thousand all in.”
→ the budget is produced and delivered as an artifact.
Spoken. Inside a marked span opened by the wake word “Lingo”, the spoken form is “generate budget”. Dictated directives fire deliberately, never by accident.
What the agent actually does
The agent prices each line, groups the lines under categories, and reconciles before delivering: lines sum to category totals, categories to the envelope. A line it cannot price is disclosed as a gap — never silently zeroed — and figures that do not reconcile are never shipped as a budget.

When the host can't
No generation capability for budget on this host: disclose it plainly, and never present unreconciled figures as a budget. A list of numbers that does not sum is not a budget, in any form.
Conformance — “done when”
A budget is delivered as an artifact, reconciled — or the unreconciled gap is disclosed in the delivery report.
Persistence class: content-write. Execution report in the reply: required. A user can test any of this by hand — fire the directive, then check the result against the store, the schedule, or the reply itself.
